Common questions
Where is my data stored?
Your moments and impressions live on your device, using Apple's SwiftData. If you have iCloud enabled, they sync privately through CloudKit — never through our servers.
How do I delete my data?
Open Embra, go to Settings → Delete All Data. This removes all records from your device and your iCloud account. The action cannot be undone.
Why does the AI write something that feels off?
Impressions and Life Arcs are generated from the moments you've recorded. If an output doesn't feel right, it often means the archive needs more texture. Add a few more memories and regenerate — the AI has more to work with each time.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Embra, go to Settings → Membership. Your subscription status will load automatically. If it doesn't, tap to restore purchases.
The app isn't working as expected
Try force-quitting and reopening Embra first. If the issue persists, please email us with a brief description and your iOS version — we read every message.
